Dave's infectious spirit is still very much alive!

 

 

Dave and his family are grateful beyond words to all of those you have donated to the Dave Genchi Recovery fund. Without the dedicated efforts of his friends who organized Fundraising events and the kind and generous donations of you all, Project Walk may not have been possible. Participation in this program is not cheap, nor is the cost of living with a Spinal Cord Injury. For anyone who wants reassurance that their efforts and donations have been put to good use, you only have to look at the pictures of Dave now. It will be sure to bring a smile to your face to see the dramatic improvement in him in the last 6 months. 

 

Today, they are living in Carlsbad, so Dave can attend Project Walk 4 times a week. As Dave so often says "there is no better place for me right now" . Although offering no guarantees, Project Walk has done wonders to improve both Dave's physical and emotional well being. There is no finite plan with this kind of recovery approach, but the longer he can participate in this program the better. Each day in Dave's life brings a new obstacle and with it a new triumph.
